By Rachel HovelandFranchi’s Instinct line of over-unders are known for quality at an affordable price. New for this year is the Instinct LX. Though similar to its Instinct L model counterpart in weight and length, the Instinct LX is designed to be the finer, more stylish addition to the line. The wood is upgraded to AA-grade walnut, the engraved receiver with gold game bird accents is eye-catching and the forearm is distinct: styled in curled, Schnabel fashion.
Reviewers enjoyed the swing and balance of the firearm and gave this shotgun strong ratings for Style and Function, while also complimenting the price: “Easy, comfortable fit and classic styling—a handsome over-under for the price.”
Includes three extended choke tubes; available in 12-gauge or 20-gauge, both in 28-inch barrels.
